• Managing database and files of user e-mail. • Opening new e-mail accounts for AUC students, faculty and staff. • Maintaining and managing all user accounts, e-mail. • Performing and supervising the "Help Desk" functions. • Preparing and submitting Help Desk and usage reports. • Following up on support emails on a daily basis. • Creates and maintains user accounts (approx 7000 user accounts) on the different system platforms used by UTI department. • Coordinates end-user support and route problems to proper computing staff member for investigation, troubleshooting, and solving. • Provides user support to administrators, faculty, staff and students as part of the ongoing services provided by UTI. This includes quotas and account passwords. • Performs the system and user files backups, as planned and agreed on by system administrators. • Performs "Help Desk" functions, including receiving, entering, assigning, follow-up and reporting.
• University degree, 0-2 years experience in user support environment. • Customer relations experience preferred. • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic. • Strong computer skills are an asset.
