• Fiscal management of office budget and expenditures (including special projects): manage the SAP system; handle purchase requisitions, payments to different parties, print requisitions, per diems for office staff, travel authorizations, petty cash, and the maintenance of the stock of office supplies, working closely with the Financial, Supply Chain, and Provost’s office staff • Schedule and administer visits from foreign universities, including all details related to travel, meetings with staff and faculty at AUC, and any other direct requests on the visitors’ behalf • Maintain regular contact with foreign institutions: respond to inquiries from overseas scholars and administrators and/or refer their inquiries to the appropriate IPO staff person or to the responsible person in a different office • Arrange IPO events through hall bookings, advertising, and contacting food caterers • Manage, construct, maintain, and update the filing system on the PC and in hard copies for his/her own operations and the operations of the office as a whole • Maintain records and organize the annual staff office leaves, as liaison point among IPO team members • Maintain the appointments schedule for and handle incoming phone calls for the Associate Provost
Education: Bachelors’ degree and preferably a master’ level degree Experience: At least five years of administrative experience, including professional interaction with people of diverse nationalities and backgrounds Skills: • Excellent command of English and effective written and oral communication skills • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, high Internet navigation skills • High attention to detail • Strong ability to multitask combined with organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills • Fiscal management, including the ability to manage office budgets and externally funded projects and, preferably, experience using SAP • Ability to manage communications with constituencies inside and outside of the university

Manage the office operations of the International Programs Office through administering the office budgets, handling office operations, arranging itineraries for and hosting international visitors, and working on upcoming projects.
