Description	• Monitoring, screening and evaluating innovation worldwide. • Work on the relevant innovative ideas to be well prepared for execution in the market. • Supporting All Business Units with Initiatives that are aligned with their marketing strategies, Marketing trends and Consumer habits and coordinating in the process of execution with packaging design agencies through packaging Development projects in both innovation and Cost saving directions. • Managing Packaging projects for SFD-BUs and develop the process for packaging development (Brief , flowchart of process……..etc ) • Reviewing the Packaging material specifications for Current business units and update them for cost saving, legalization or any other reasons. • Issuing the Packaging material specifications for new Business units which suits the local market conditions and in alignment with project, supply chain functions. • Supporting the manufacturing function in BUs with the technical consultancy and/ or find a solutions for production problems related to packaging. • Building database/ list for packaging suppliers and qualify them based on quality and price. • Managing the process of Packaging suppliers evaluation and Development to assure meeting the accepted sustainable level of quality. • Improve packaging development role awareness while participating in marketing forums and through presentation of “orientation sessions”.
Qualifications	• Bsc. Engineering (mechanical is preferable) • Minimum 4 years experience in same field “ packaging development FMCG” • Expert in plastics (bottles, sachet, pouches, etc. ),tins, labels, cartons • Fair knowledge of glass and papers • Good knowledge of different packaging processing machineries • Excellent presentation skills • Perfect in search via net or other research means • Fluent English skills • Word, Excel, Power point, Internet
