The job of a SharePoint Developer involves building and configuring SharePoint websites using web UI or SharePoint Designer and developing code for SharePoint. Candidate is responsible for developing applications around the core concepts of business process management, collaboration, business intelligence or enterprise content management. The typical responsibilities, duties and tasks are: •Implementing high quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions •Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs. •Design and implement development workflow. •Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment. •Taking directions from management in implementing solutions. •Unit testing for all assigned deliverables. •Will work from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration. •Analyze technologies, technical processes and/or functions, document findings, identify areas for improvement and create specifications and implement.
•MOSS 2007/2010 certificate is required. •Bachelor degree in IT or other related accredited discipline. •4+ years in Microsoft .NET development with a 2+ years of SharePoint development experience on enterprise initiatives. •2-3 projects in a relevant scope. •Advanced knowledge in business workflows. Understanding of Workflow Foundation, MOSS, WSS, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Forms Services, and SharePoint Templates. •Experience with collaboration portals, enterprise search, ECM, business process and forms, and/or BI. •SharePoint knowledge to include Web Part Development, with a focus on planning, developing, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. •Development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies is also required (e.g. ASP .NET, C#, XML, CSS, HTML, IIS, JavaScript, web services, BizTalk Server, SQL Server) •Good knowledge of the .NET Framework and experience working in the full Software Development Life Cycle is also required.
