Mission: Drives the Divisional Business in the Country, in close cooperation with the CSL according to DCL guidelines. The CDL is responsible for the Divisional Strategy and its implementation, to ensure the expected business growth and consolidated profitability. He guides the divisional business and channel management, including the Divisional planning and forecasting activities, aligned with the CSL. Reporting Relationship: *Directly to the Division Cluster Lead * Middle East and Africa Areas of Responsibility: * Ensures achievement of Divisional Country Goals and collaborates to achieve H Country goals * Responsible for the Divisional numbers in the Country. Accountable towards CSL and the DCL * CDL is responsible to drive the MBR for his Division in the Country * Responsible for optimizing distribution channels, manage distributor relationships & establish strong common ground with the distribution channels * CDL is part of the H Country Leadership Team * Manages Division-dedicated sales force in the Country in harmony with Service, Finance & Operations (aligned with CSL and DCL): + Channel management (aligned with CSL, right of way with CDL) + Sales force sizing and investment (CSL to coordinate implementation in alignment w/ divisional growth targets and SG&A targets) + Incentive scheme design (aligned with CSL, right of way with CDL)
Experience: *This position is responsible for the profitable sale of the business full product portfolio in the country. This entails the general management of the commercial activity: marketing, sales, and technical service for technically complex, price competitive, and highly regulated products. Local market knowledge, judgment and creativity are required to ensure development and implementation of innovative plans on country level, that will increase product sales and enhance Divisions/regional/country strategic direction and market penetration *The position impacts the strategic plans of key functions by assessing the marketability of new products and processes and recommending appropriate sales methods for the Country *Leads the multi functional team to support the complex business structure *The position involves interaction with a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and diverse nationality mix
