Description
— Follow up on orders, verifies availability and delivery
dates, and prioritizes, schedules, and expedites delivery of materials
to meet target dates. — Always develop new buying markets/suppliers,
ensure direct buying is done. — Maintaining competitive pricing, with
continuous tracking of any deviation. — Communication / Negotiation with
supplier and participate in Negotiating agreements. — Ensure Supply
Stability, prevent excessive inventory stock, and avoid stock shortages.
— Prepares weekly and monthly vendor reports detailing vendor
performance, reliability, pricing, responsiveness, and quality. —
Analysis and reports purchase price variances to ensure adherence of
vendors to contractual obligations. — Maintain up to date supply base
information database. — Participating in yearly cost reductions
activities.
Qualifications
• Minimum
of 4 years university degree • Minimum Purchasing experience of Three
(3) to Five(5) in printed packaging components in Flexible material,
cartons, plastics and Duplex boxes, preferably in baking/Food industry. •
Demonstrating leadership, driving change and continuous improvement. •
High- good - mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent
communication, interpersonal skills & presentation skills •
Comfortable dealing with peers and suppliers at all levels • Good
negotiation acumen • Global mindset, used to multicultural and
multifunctional teams • A high knowledge of MRP systems is a must. •
CIPS qualified preferred • Ability to multitask and excel in a fast
paced environment.
