Work closely with project coordinator, web production officers, editors, information architect and management information specialist to maximize traffic of Global Publishing Service managed websites. Report to Manager, Content Management Services and work closely with Head, Content Management Services and Co-heads of e-Business to implement SEO strategy to facilitate customer commercialization. The SEO specialist will lead best practice of meta-tagging and content optimization to improve visibility of content. He will monitor search engine ranking of websites managed by Global Publishing Service and the identified competitor sites (if any), including internal Verity Search as well as Internet search engines, such as Google and Yahoo! and develop search related reports Qualifications Should have a Bachelor degree of Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer engineering or any relevant Gender Any Experience Years. Other Skills • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and advanced MS Excel user • Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing methodology and techniques. Have a solid understanding of content management systems and e-commerce systems. • Good command of SEO analysis software (Web Trends, Site Score, Google webmaster tools) • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and strong SEO skills • Knowledge of paid placement, pay-per-click is a plus • Analytical and proficient in research and analysis • Good interpersonal communication skills • Strong command of both written and spoken English • Strong attention to detail and can work under time pressure • Structured, systematic working style • Maintains composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere • Available to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary • Flexibility in working different shifts when required.
