Description
1. Assist in budget forecast preparation of future income and
expenses through expected occupancy and rental of facilities.
2. Record all income through collection of resident and visitor fees.
3. Record and reconcile all expenses through settlement of accounts,
issuing of student refunds and external staff salaries; calculation of
bed cost, utilities, rental expenses, maintenance and purchase of
furniture and equipment.
4. Issue all requisitions and follow up with university departments
through general payment requests, journal vouchers and budget change
forms. Also follow up on shuttle contractor monthly payment including
extra hours and buses reserved for activities.
5. Purchase and monitor inventory in all rented facilities and the
office.
6. Provide weekly and monthly budget reports through the SAP system.
7. Supervise the RAs and RDs advances and settlements.
8. Implement rules and regulations to University policies to all
accounting procedures, and perform other duties delegated by the
Associate Dean for Residential Life.
Qualifications
University Degree in Accounting.
Strong administrative experience.
Interpersonal skills and experience dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Attention to detail.
Excellent command of English and Arabic.
Excellent computer skills.
