Description —Perform initial screening of submitted requests for offers, policies, technical endorsements, and assess the related simple/complex risk to generate quotations in line with the Allianz standards for risk definition. —Make recommendations to manager on acceptance of the risk if within company underwriting limit or refer the case to be handled for re-insurance as required. —Process, issue, renew, and cancel simple or complex policies and endorsements for head office, branches and offices. —Interface with external experts and examine the experts reports (in the cases of theft). —Support sales agents technically to provide better information and service to clients. —Log the required data in the appropriate information system. —Handle the Egypt Re compulsory cession whenever applicable. —Calculate the long-term premium (semi-annual) as needed whenever applicable. —Handle all correspondences with clients. —Ensure the delivery of the issued policies to agents/brokers/clients. —Examine the wording of n
ew covers and new policies. —Maintain effective filing and follow up systems.
Qualifications •University degree & he must be an Alex resident. •1-2 years of experience in insurance in general or underwriting in particular. •Knowledge of insurance operations and re-insurance is an asset. •Very good analytical, logical and problem solving abilities. •Highly motivated with an ability to handle work pressure and to meet tight deadlines. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high customer service orientation. •Excellent time management and organization skills. •Very good computer skills.
