Description
—Detail Planning of Raw Material and Packing Material
Purchases, MRP. —Studying sales trends, material consumption trends and
inventory levels. —Placing orders and checking shipment (Import Items);
Tracking of shipments and dispatches at suppliers end/ETD/position of
vessel/ETA , documents etc. —Follow-up with suppliers. Giving advance
projections.Maintain records of goods ordered and received..
—Establishing foreign and domestic suppliers, Vendor evaluation and
development. New opportunities and Sourcing savings —Negotiating the
lowest prices. Analyze price movements, Stocks aging etc. —Coordinate
with Factory Planner and Factory Stores for space requirements and
receipt of material. Maintain Supplier/Vendor details and specifications
of all the materials and other PDS and MSDS data bases.
Qualifications
•Bachelors
Degree or Post Graduate in Chemistry or Commerce •Certificate or
diploma course in Planning and Procurement, Supply chain etc .
•Experience of 5-10 years in related fields of Purchase or R&D in
any Paints or Chemicals Company or experience in Import planning &
execution with any Chemicals or trading company
