|
Secretary, Office of the Vice President for Planning and
Administration
— Answer telephones and give information to callers.
— Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
— Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence,
and reports.
— Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to
the appropriate persons.
— Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
— Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material.
— Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records,
correspondence, and other material.
— Arrange conferences, meetings, and travel reservations for office
personnel.
— Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or
supervisors.
— Collect and disburse funds from cash accounts, and keep records of
collections and disbursements.
— Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence
requiring replies.
— Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the
Internet.
— Keep record of all stationary, their order forms and their usage and
distribution among the offices staff and other relevant parties.
Maintains their inventory check as well.
— Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and
implemented.
— Complete forms in accordance with AUC procedures.
— Mail newsletters, promotional material, and other information.

Qualifications |
Minimum education requirement: University degree in a related field
Experience: Minimum two years experience in administrative work
Skills:
Proficiency in the English and Arabic languages, both written and oral.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times
Excellent knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft office and SAP
Multitasks handler and working under pressure
Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines efficiently
