Description
The Associate will be participating in performing individual internal
audit projects, as part of the total internal audit plan and individual
quality projects as part of the total quality plan. Will be responsible
for all or part of specific assignments for verification of expenditures
and will participate in assessment assignments and consultancy work.
His/her responsibility includes developing internal audit programs,
performing internal audit procedures, and participating in the
preparation of different reports issued by the department reflecting the
results of the work performed. Work performed will include coverage of
financial and operational processes of MEK, as well as subsidiaries.
Additionally, performs continuous follow-up on the status of outstanding
issues with different departments. Will also assist the audit and
quality team with periodic reporting to the Audit and Governance
Committee and development of the annual work plan. May often be asked by
A&Q director to assist in new assignments, as applicable.
Qualifications
Experience
of 1.5 to 3 years. Worked in a "big 4" professional firm (KPMG,
Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, PwC) is a plus, or a similar
professional firm. Experience in fields of both internal & external
audits (majority internal audit), preferably exposed to non-profit
entities. Exposed to both financial and operational audits, and risk
assessments before. Desired: SSc. Degree, majoring in accounting or
finance.
