Description
1- Maintain all molds and fixtures in appropriate condition
for production of high quality containers.
2- Manage the mold design area and construct Bottle design, Implement
mold design changes and upgrading.
3- Works with the forming manager to solve mold problems. 4- Identifies
potential problem areas of molds and recommends corrective action or
preventive maintenance. 5- Operates and maintains machine tool
equipment in the mold shop. 6- Establish and maintain mold &
consumables inventory and inventory controls. 7- Monitor and report
consumption of parts inventory.
8- Manage Mold Department within approved budget each year.
9- Ensure the Mold Maintenance Shop and associated work areas are
adequately equipped, clean and orderly.
10- Minimization of industrial accidents and awareness of ISO standards
9001, 14001 & 18001.
11- Train and develop the mold maintenance team.
12- Build jigs and fixtures as determined by engineering, quality or
production.
13- Ensure that all applicable environmental regulations and operating
procedures are
followed, including operating within all permits. 14- Establish and
maintain effective communication with staff and management. 15-
Responsible for the equitable application of all employee policies,
procedures, and rules of conduct. 16- Assists Plant Manager in areas
such as planning, organization, directing, evaluation and other
activities designed to fulfil the company mission.
Qualifications
1-
Candidates should possess an Engineer Degree in Mechanical or
Industrial Engineering plus a minimum of (5) years experience in a Mold
maintenance shop of a Container glass or mold manufacturer. 2- Must
have a thorough knowledge of drafting and applicable mold building
technology and machine Shop skills.
