Description
Assists in identifying and evaluating the organizations risk
areas, and provides input to the development of the annual audit plan
Leads a team of Internal Auditors in conducting internal audit projects,
as part of the overall annual audit plan Plans for conducting audit
projects, and updates the corresponding risk profiles Supervises his
team in conducting the internal audit project, and in preparing timely,
accurate, and in-depth internal audit reports reflecting the results of
the work performed. Demonstrates strong project management skills, and
directs and reviews the teams work Keeps Audit management up-to-date on
the status and key findings of audit projects Shares results of audit
inspections with the auditees, and secures their buy-in to remedial
management action Demonstrates value-added contribution to auditees by
providing counsel on how to improve internal controls, and by
identifying significant potential risks and advising on how to prevent
their occurrence Promotes internal awareness and accountability for
adequate and effective controls Develops and maintains productive
internal client relationships Assists in the training and development of
Internal Auditors and Trainee Auditors Performs follow-up on the status
of outstanding internal audit issues and items on the management action
plan
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar position. • Experience in Automotive filed is a plus
